Our mission is to connect the world through chamber music. We believe in the power of chamber music to connect people either through our youth chamber music and orchestra programs, our adult intensive weekend, or by attending one of our free public or outreach concerts.
As a participant in one of our programs, you will be guided by some of New York's most experienced chamber music professionals. They share CMC's vision of the power and importance of chamber music. As an audience member of our free public concerts and outreach concerts you will experience first-hand up close chamber music in intimate settings - the way chamber music is supposed to be heard! The small size of chamber music groups enable the listener to be part of the experience as the performers are inspired by the energy and feedback of the audience. Our outreach concerts connect the performers with the audience in a new and special way.
