The Children's Advocacy Center is where children come to speak the truth. We are committed to using a multi-disciplinary approach to child abuse investigation to help children of sexual and physical abuse and children who have witnessed acts of violence tell their story. We are nationally accredited and employ nationally accepted best practices. We provide a forensic interview of the child by a trained professional who seeks to help the child their story in their own words and assist with coordinating the investigation of child abuse professionals. This approach minimizes multiple interview which reduces the trauma that children have every time they have to answer questions about what happened to them. Over the last 16 years, we have provided these services to over 5000 children and their families and now assist over 700 children each year. Our services result in children being empowered and protected and offenders held accountable.
