My name is Sonja, and my daughter Liana, attends the wonderful local preschool called the Childrens Cottage Cooperative, behind the Marin County Mart. I am reaching out to you in search of a donation that will be auctioned off to support our school. A donation would be an amazing gift to our school and a very coveted auction item! The Children’s Cottage is a unique place where children experience the magic of childhood, while instilling core values of compassion and cooperation. The Children’s Cottage Cooperative has been providing families with an affordable and quality play-based education since 1948. As a nonprofit, we depend on our local community to assist us in keeping The Cottage and its traditions alive.
Our annual fundraising auction will take place at the American Legion in Larkspur on March 25, 2023, and will raise funds for scholarships, new materials, enrichment programs and caring for our 120+ year old building. We anticipate that our 75th Anniversary Diamond Celebration Gala fundraiser will be attended by 100+ members, alumni, and community supporters from all over Marin, with hundreds more national visitors to our auction website.
