CHIRLA is a historic 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is a California-based organization, focused on being social agents of change for immigrants. We are for freedom of mobility, human rights, and equity. CHIRLA is registered with the IRS and our EIN number is 95-4421521. Our Annual Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps supports CHIRLA's programs, like the 1-888-6CHIRLA toll-free immigrant assistance line; our organizing efforts with immigrant workers, youth, and parents; our legal services, which offer support with family petitions, U.S. Naturalization, deportation defense, and other immigration reliefs; our community education and outreach efforts, like Know-Your-Rights workshops; and our civic engagement like census education and new voter registration. The event will attract community leaders, celebrities, philanthropists, brands and sponsors, generation Z and millennials, CHIRLA members, and supporters. We depend on the added support of our friends and contacts in the business community for support.
