Through our school grant program, we identify low-income children and properly fit them with a new pair of running shoes, socks, and provide monetary grants to make race entry fees more affordable. In the past 14 years, we have distributed over 54,000 pairs of shoes and financial grants. Our staff and volunteers visit over 100 schools across North Texas annually and teach proper nutrition and running techniques that make running a 5K race a reality.

Our Kids Run presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors was named the “The Top Kids’ Running Program in The Nation” in 2011 and 2020 by Running USA.
We saw an increase after the pandemic years of 2021/2022, and we had over 100 schools sign-up for our Kids 5K. We are asking you for a donation to our auction. This will help to raise funds for shoes and socks for the over 100 school teams that will participate.
