The Dallas Repertoire Ballet is a pre-professional non-profit ballet company comprised of students from the Academy of Dance Arts in Allen, TX. Auditions for the company and its productions take place in early fall. Each December, DRB performs full-length productions of "The Nutcracker" as well as a sensory-friendly version to the delight of local audiences..

The DRB’s Nutcracker offers children in the DFW metroplex an opportunity to dance in a professional quality ballet production, usually held at The Eisemann Center in Richardson, TX. Not only does it cultivate a love for the arts, specifically dance, for the children (all are high school age and younger) who are in the show, but it helps foster and continue a love for this beautiful expression of art for those in the community as well. The Dallas Repertoire Ballet's performance of The Nutcracker has consistently been named as top Nutcracker performances in the DFW metroplex.
