The Foundation was started when Kim & Danny Ledford's son, Dustin was killed by a drunk driver in July 2010. They established the scholarship foundation to bring awareness to driving while impaired. They give 3 local area high school students money to continue their education. The students must submit an essay stating the dangers of driving impaired. They also must have been impacted in some way by the impaired person(s). We hold an annual golf tournament to raise the funds for the foundation, this is always the 2nd Saturday in June, this year it will be June 10.
