The Education Fund designs and implements initiatives that involve the private sector in improving public education. Our goal is to help all children reach their full potential. We direct resources where they are needed most; provide support where inequities exist, such as in low-performing schools or schools that serve low-income families; offer professional development opportunities for the entire teaching force; and evaluate the effectiveness of pilot initiatives to improve outcomes. A cornerstone of our efforts is encouraging creativity in our public schools, with a significant portion of our work benefiting the arts. We operate up to a dozen model programs at any given time that reach all 390+ schools, 20,000+ educators and 340,000+ students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
