We are reaching out to request a silent auction item to include in our online silent auction as part of our upcoming annual fundraiser in Richmond - Dunk for a Cure - at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery - West Creek.
The FCSP Foundation, a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3), was founded in 2019, to find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer following the loss of 35 year old Richmond-native and new father, Geoff Shudtz, and to continue to carry Geoff’s message of “Fight Cancer, Stay Positive”. In these last two years, our network of donors and volunteers from all over the country has enabled the FCSP Foundation to fund more than $425,000 in Pancreatic Cancer Research, with $175,000 raised in the last year alone.
We are hosting our Annual Dunk for a Cure. This fun-filled day is a culmination of weeks of fundraising by our Dunkees to raise money to fund Pancreatic Cancer research. The event will feature live music, food trucks, good brews, a silent auction and of course dunking!
All proceeds from the event, and fundraising by our Dunkees leading up to the event, will benefit life-changing early detection research supported by the Lustgarten Foundation, the world’s largest private funder of Pancreatic Cancer research, and the Richmond-based VCU Massey Cancer Center.
As part of our event festivities, we will be hosting an online silent auction. We would greatly appreciate including a donation of two tickets to Kings Dominion as part of the auction this year. This is a great way to expose your business to community members and contribute to a great cause! While our event is taking place in Richmond, we have donors and support from all over who will be able to bid on your item via our online auction platform! Additionally, we will feature your donated item on our social media and event communications.
