The First Tee of Orange County, a premier youth development nonprofit 501c3, is in Anaheim but serves all Orange County youth! The First Tee of Orange County provides young people, ages 5-18, with character education and life skills education through golf. At The First Tee, kids discover how skills essential to success on a golf course can help them flourish in every aspect of their lives. We focus on core values such as Respect, Courtesy, Responsibility, Honesty, and Perseverance. We are building “Game Changers.”
Since we began in 2013, we have served over 27,000 youth in Orange County. As a parent and volunteer for The First Tee, I know firsthand how the program makes a difference to Orange County Youth. My two young PLAYers have been supported with core values, learned valuable leadership skills, and have started giving back to the program as volunteer Jr. Coaches. They apply the core values to better themselves, their community, and others.
As a nonprofit organization striving to provide affordable, accessible programs to all youth, we rely on the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations to deliver our programs.
