The Go Church, Chicago purpose is to exemplify who God is, His heart, His mind and His attributes in a way that brings hope to those who are hopeless and looking for an answer.

Our Mission is to bring life and hope through the infallible word of God to places in the heart and the world that are dry and barren and desolate.

The Go Church strongly beleives in building and supporting the community in which we live and thrive. Having a heart for the community the Go Church commits to standing in the community giving Hope and praying for the community.  Our service is based on analyzing the needs of the community/neighborhood and identifying areas of need and providing resources to fill those needs. While everyone may not be in need of resources everyone can benefit from prayer.

The following are service events that we conduct annually:

Coat Drive - Initially our first year our goal was to collect 100 coats.  We collected a total of 150 coats, and several hats, scarves and gloves. Over the next two years our goals have been exceeded.  Last year we collected over 400 coats which were donated to several organizations.

April Food Drive - Annually Go Church members and supporters donate money, canned and dried goods to bless families.  Along with the dried and canned goods we purchase turkey and ham.  In our 3 years our donations have increased year over year allowing us to distribute over 250 meals to familes in need.

Back to School Fun Day - Members and supports donated school supplies for the community.  As mentioned above the event has conitnued to grow.  The first year we gave out 30 bags, last year we distributed more than 75 book bags and supplies.  We had games, face painting, food and music to commemorate the new school year.

Pop-Up Prayer - Where we go out into the community with our signs and music and pray for whoever wants it, whether in cars or walking down the street.

Our Pastor loves serving the community and expects all of his Cohort Leaders to have a passion for serving in excellence.
