The Great Pocomoke Fair originally began in 1901. Fairgoers traveled to Pocomoke on the train to see the exhibits, games, and particularly the horse races. The Fair closed in 1930, a victim of the Great Depression, and was reorganized in 1991. We are a staple in the community and believe that community involvement and support are important. We pride ourselves in showing and teaching how agriculture is important in the community and world based.
