The Harvard Lions Club supports research and services in the areas of sight, hearing and diabetes at the region, national and international level. We also serve our local community both with respect to these healthcare issues as well as a broad range of other local needs. We have purchased new sight screening equipment for Harvard schools, provided sight and hearing screenings of Harvard students using the Lions Sightmobile, provided equipment to support Special Education students, Hearing and vision support for local Harvard families, supplying wheel chair ramps for disabled families, assisting local senior citizens, donations to local food pantries, scholarships for deserving high school seniors, contributions to community programs e.g. post prom party, Town Halloween celebration, Harvard Elementary School playground, fire department, and ambulance squad. Service work for Veterans at Clear Path in Devans, MA.
We financially support MA Lions Eye Research Fund, Clara Barton Diabetes Camp for girls, Joslin Diabetes Camp for Boys, Assistance Dogs for the Deaf and Disabled, Lions Eyeglass Recycling Program.
