The Jackson Center equips children and adults with motor challenges with the physical ability and confidence to attain the highest quality of independent life. Our primary focus is the practice of Conductive Education, which develops motor skills through repetition, peer interaction and positive reinforcement. Here children gain greater independence in life's most basic skills: sitting, crawling, walking and self-care. Located just south of Indianapolis, the Jackson Center is the only Conductive Education program in Indiana.
The Jackson Center also offers an academic program, led by a state-certified teacher. The education program allows children to learn in a small group environment enhanced by the assistance of a one-to-one aide. Students work toward the achievement of age-appropriate education standards identified in collaboration with their parents and home school district.
