The Jordy Foundation was created in memory of our daughter, Jordyn, who lost her battle with leukemia at 3 years old. Jordy was diagnosed with AML leukemia the week of her 2nd birthday in 2018. She spent the next year of her little life fighting like the warrior she was, even receiving a bone marrow transplant. Jordy was in remission for 3 short months, before relapsing. Despite her amazing spirit and incredible fight, Jordy lost her battle just after her 3rd birthday.
While in the hospital, Jordy love to have dance parties. You could hear music coming from her room and find our little two year old jumping on her bed, despite being hooked up to all sorts of machines. She truly was our warrior princess. All the nurses and doctors would come dance with her. We could not think of a more fitting event to honor her memory than to have a dance party each and every year.
The Jordy Foundation Dance party brings together our local dance studios and their families, along with members of our community.
All proceeds from our raffle and dance party are used to support the Jordy Foundation’s mission, to provide assistance to pediatric cancer patients and their families. Among other assistance for these strong warriors, our primary goal is to provide Ipads and tablets to these patients.
