More About Us
LINDBERGH SCHOOLS FOUNDATION
The Lindbergh Schools Foundation (LSF) is an independent, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Lindbergh Schools' commitment to excellence in all facets of education.

OUR HISTORY
The Foundation was founded in 1998 by a group of Lindbergh parents who shared a strong commitment to education, the Lindbergh Schools and especially to the students of the Lindbergh Schools.

The founding board realized that additional resources for significant funding would be needed to maintain the high level of excellence that had long been a trademark of the Lindbergh Schools.
The commitment was then made to lead the effort to raise those additional funds.

OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The first efforts of the Foundation were directed toward funding college scholarships for Lindbergh High School seniors. Over the years, the Foundation Scholarship program of the Foundation has expanded to include the financial management and administration of 51 scholarships established in the name of Lindbergh administrators, teachers, coaches or alumni, in addition to the original Foundation Adversity Scholarship.
Since the inception of our scholarship programs (LHS Alumni Association in 1988, LS Foundation in 1999, and Lindbergh Lights the Way in 2021) , we have helped provide a total of $751,370 in scholarship funding, by giving 809 scholarships.

OUR GRANT PROGRAM
The Spirit of Lindbergh Fund and the Spirit of Lindbergh Teacher Grants program were established to encourage and support the efforts of district teachers who propose innovative projects to engage their students in more creative and exciting ways. This program has evolved into the Innovation Grant Program and is now accessible by any Lindbergh staff member.
Since beginning our grant program in January 1, 2008, 400+ Lindbergh staff have received grants of up to $500, totaling more than $175,000.

OUR PARTNER PROGRAMS
In 2019 the Lindbergh High School Alumni Association and Lindbergh Lights the Way both became partners/committees of the Lindbergh Schools Foundation.
With the addition of these two programs, our arching mission has remained the same, but our depth and reach has increased because of their programs, volunteers and commitment.
