The Upper Merion Mother's Club is part of a Community Support Project where for a small registration fee, mother's can connect with one another through the club to forge deep, supportive, and relatable relationships. All members of the club are expected ot participate in community support projects such as:
- The Mitten Project: this project provides gifts (toys, clothing, personal items, etc.) during the Holidays
- Project Backpack: providing backpacks, supplies, and snacks to local schools for children needing support
- Fire/Police Snack Session: homemade snacks and treats are provided to local emergency responders
Mothers are also encouraged to share gently used items or with one another. This expands to non-members when we are made aware of a family in need. All of the above is possible through collections received at our Annual May Dinner and Raffle Fundraiser Event.
Personally, this group has been my saving grace after moving 3,000 miles to a place where I did not know a soul. These women have literally changed my life over the course of 3 years.
