The Center for Health Care Services is San Antonio’s Local Mental Health Authority, proudly serving Bexar County for over five decades. The Center for Health Care Services has provided nearly 10,000,000 services to an estimated 800,000 Bexar County children, women, and men. The need for mental health support is only growing. The Center’s mission is to provide integrated care to improve the lives of children and adults with mental health conditions, substance use challenges, and intellectual or developmental disabilities. Every day the CHCS Foundation helps the Center accomplish this work. We are committed to changing lives and restoring families by reducing the stigma surrounding these topics and empowering our community members with support and tools.
