Mission: The Ortiz Ark Foundation is committed to serving, creating, and sustaining families and communities with resources to develop the capacities of the underserved. By increasing their access to resources, education, food, services, health, and reentry and effectively addressing the roots of social inequities.
Our organization has taken a unique approach to serve the community. Our entire team is unique and diverse in many ways and has overcome a barrier, system, handicap, or issue and through those struggles designed a way to create solutions. From providing food to 350 a week to stop pinging kids whose parents are struggling with addiction, gang members, or incarceration and breaking cycles offering new ways of thinking to change their mindset which then leads to changing their parents and offering new ways of thinking. All of are programs are designed by the needs and efforts to create solutions that benefit everyone.
How does this affect your business? If crime is high, food and housing are unaffordable in the city where you are located its hard to get the locals in but imagine getting tourists if the city around is crumbling down.
