The Playful Child Foundation was established in 2018. We work to create opportunities for children, families, and the community to play. The non profit was established after the tragic and unexpected death of Kade Damian. His playful and joyful spirit is honored with our mission and goals. The Playful Child's mission is to nurture the physical and mental health of children and families by cultovating the healing value of unstructured play in our community.
The physical embodiment of The Playful Child's mission is The Kade Damian Healing Hearts Park. The park will sit on 6 acres right along the beautiful qSan Gabriel River Trail System and feature a natural playground with trails, bathroom, gathering areas, memorials, and more!
