The Public Education Foundation’s mission is to partner with the community and the Clark County School District to meet immediate, critical education needs that will strengthen our public schools. Thanks to our many community partners, we work to ensure every public school student in Clark County can succeed. Together, we are driving public education forward.

PEF Programs:

Scholarships Plus will provide $5 million dollars in college scholarships this year to help students pursue their dreams of attending college or vocational school. We award more than 900 scholarships each year to help high school seniors and college-enrolled students pursue post-secondary education.

Teacher Superstore, formerly the Teacher EXCHANGE, provides school supplies to teachers to reduce their out-of-pocket expenses. These supplies are then passed along to students who often can’t afford them. A recent survey from the United States Department of Education found that 94% of teachers spend their own funds on school supplies, with the average teacher spending $480 a year. Your $26 donation can provide a teacher with supplies worth up to $500.

Teacher Pathway recruits, supports, and retains diverse, qualified individuals committed to a teaching career in CCSD. This “grow your own” teacher training program focuses on addressing Clark County’s chronic teacher shortage by helping current support professionals complete a teacher training program.

Artists with Kids - We partner with entertainers and leaders in the Las Vegas arts community to help students in CCSD enrich their educational experience with access to the arts. We connect students to inspirational experiences including performing on the world-class stage at The Smith Center, exhibiting their artwork throughout the community, and curating art shows.

Family Learning Program - We utilize national best practices to empower families to more effectively support their child’s learning at school and strengthen life skills that help disrupt generational poverty. We give families the tools and skills to navigate distance learning, support better communication between teachers and families, and connect families with life skills such as English language courses, financial literacy, and more.
