Here is an awesome opportunity to support a group of Veteran Marines that are giving back to those who are currently serving our great nation on Active Duty. Currently, there is group of former Raiders who have taken on the extensive project to restore the squadron car that has survived and served its “Tour of Duty” with the command for over the past 30 years. The iconic 1969 Lincoln Continental known as the RaiderMobile has been on ongoing project since 2016. The car was purchased in 1984. At the time, it was the dynamic symbol for the future, and was the foundation for the growing sense of purpose and the "Commitment to Excellence" displayed by the Marines within the command. Tanker Lincoln, Raider Mobile, Old Breed, New Breed, it doesn't matter; the title is United States Marine. This car is more than just a car. It is an icon. It is the link between the past and the present. It is a black 1969 Lincoln Continental with "suicide doors" that through more than three decades of recreation and hard work, peace and war, triumph and tragedy, has now become a true and unfortunate “Casualty of War”.

The RaiderMobile Foundation was founded in 2016 and chronicles the story of the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 (VMGR-352) squadron car throughout its history. The objective is to portray the vehicle’s rich and colorful past, the car’s relationship with the squadron as it experiences peacetime operations as well as during time of war. The RaiderMobile Foundation is officially recognized by the state of California as well as the IRS as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization. The Foundation and the Lincoln are also members of the national Lincoln and Continental Owners Club (LCOC Member Number: 027216C) and belong to the Western Chapter of the LCOC in California.

OPERATION RESTORE TANKER LINCOLN (OP-RTL) is the first project of hopefully many in the future, for the foundation. Its mission is to illustrate the current plight of the car, to advocate a repair and restoration campaign, and restore the squadron car and have it up and running in support of squadron professional and social objectives. To reinvigorate a spark and play a small part of a larger, more cohesive and invigorated community. By giving to this project you'll be supporting the overall mission, and throughout time, bolstering morale and camaraderie within VMGR-352 and the KC-130 community

To date the Foundation has raised a little over $26,000.00 dollars of our $55,000.00 goal, and it is the desire, and hope that through your support and the combined efforts of OPERATION RESTORE TANKER LINCOLN, that we can give back to those whom have served unselfishly something bigger then themselves.  It would be an honor to be afforded the opportunity to show and reveal to all of those whom have supported this effort the very symbol, once restored, continuing its legacy and proudly enduring the test of time and displaying the core values of the Marines throughout the 21st Century and beyond.

The Foundation is asking for your support with donations, even the smallest ones are appreciated. If you cannot donate but still wish to support, please share, like, tweet, post, and tell your friends, family, and colleagues of our efforts. This is not just a car restoration campaign but a group of Marines, Old and New, trying to restore our own "Casualty of War."

Through the website at www.theraidermobile.com we are hoping to reach out to allies and partners to include: Raiders from the illustrious present and past, other members of the BattleHerk Community, Friends, Family, the local civilian community, all Marines and Sailors, automotive enthusiasts, and anyone who wishes us well and would like to have a unique way to give back to Marines and Sailors whom have served. It is the underlying hope that those who take the time to visit our page, will involve themselves in OPERATION RESTORE TANKER LINCOLN. Semper Fidelis and many thanks.
