The Richardson ISD Foundation's mission is to advance impactful opportunities to benefit all within the Richardson Independent School District. We identified and defined the following core values to express the heart of the Foundation and to use as a filter through which we evaluate all of our activities and priorities.

- Collaboration- Purposefully reaching out and engaging partners
- Equity- Advancing fair impartial and quality initiatives for all in the Richardson ISD.
The Foundation links community resources of time, money and expertise with the diverse needs of our students to enhance and compliment the mission of the district. Because of support from generous donors, we fund student programs, projects and initiatives that do not receive sufficient tax-based funding. The Foundation also promotes and recognizes student academic excellence and innovative instruction by teachers.
