The Rose Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, whose mission is to spread awareness, share storie and raise the essential funds to support the ground-breaking research for cystic fibrosis (CF) until there is a cure. The Rose Foundation will do everyting in its power to to support cystic fibrosis research until CF stands for Cure Found!
Our inaugural event was Run for Roses - From the Arch to the Apple, a 65-day running pilgrimage from St. Louis to New York City, to spread awareness, raise funds and share stories of CF along the way. During this 65-day, 1,000 mile journey, Colleen Caul spread awareness, performed CF stories and raised over $42,000. All support services, housing, food, sag wagon, etc, were donated so that every dollar donated would go to research for a cure. A documentary, Rose Compass, was produced from this run and continues to spread awareness for CF!
The Rose Foundaiton's funds go towards new services, treatments, medicaitons and research for a cure and serve all age children and adults living with cystic fibrosis. All of our proceeds go to our Team Run for Roses as part of the CFF Gateway Chpater in the St. Louis area.
The Rose Foundation has achieved its mission through many events, including its Run for Roses and Ride for Roses running and cycling charity teams, trivia nights, wine and whiskey tastings, etc. We continue to spread awareness thorough over 1,100 informative monthly newsletters that go out to folks across the country.
