We rely heavily on the generosity of our communities to sustain our programs and services. At The Saville Center, our mission is to facilitate the protection, prevention, and healing of victims of child abuse and to promote the health of families in our community. Our calm and child-friendly environment lessens the fears a child might face in telling their story of abuse. We offer free services to families, including forensic interviews, medical maltreatment exams (or sexual assault exams), victim and family advocacy, mental health counseling, multidisciplinary team case review, and court school. In 2022 we served over 415 children and provided over 775 free services.
I cannot imagine having to look in a child’s eyes after they have endured physical, emotional, and sexual abuse let alone hear their gut-wrenching stories day in and day out. The Saville Center is a necessity and a true asset to our communities.
