The South County Pre-Kindergarten Co-op (SCPC) is a not-for-profit corporation designed to provide a quality preschool experience to three and four-year-olds in our community. Founded in 1974, SCPC is accredited by the Maryland Department of Education and meets all requirements for a non-public nursery school. It is located at the Davidsonville Family Recreation Center.
A cooperative preschool made up of around 30 families, SCPC provides children with quality education at a reasonable cost. At the same time, allowing parents the opportunity to observe, participate, and offer input into their child’s classroom. In exchange for reduced tuition, the school depends on the volunteer efforts of its parents and the monies earned through fundraising.
