The Summit Academy is an independent, classical, college preparatory high school for young men and women. Rooted in the Catholic Tradition, we offer a unique opportunity to develop the mind and body in a profound educational experience that engages the whole person. Last year we added a part-time 6th - 8th grade program.
While we are a new institution, we provide a rich academic program based on classic Great Books and the Liberal Arts Tradition. Our curriculum, our instruction in the classroom and beyond, is structured to strengthen our students’ engagement with the world in Christian Virtue. We offer small class sizes where students work with original sources and texts and learn through active participation in Socratic seminars. We provide a rigorous education in our language, math and science program as well as fine arts and performance, speech and debate. Additionally, we provide outdoor leadership opportunities to educate the whole person.
Our First Annual Gala:
We will host our first annual gala on Friday, October 22 from 6-10pm at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania. It promises to be a fabulous evening celebrating the success of our thriving school while fostering friendship and nurturing enduring relationships. The night offers appetizers, open bar, dinner, light entertainment and features the exciting silent and live auctions.
