Dear donor,
My name is Scott Austin and I’m a part of the team at The Summit Church. Each year we raise funds at our auction--The Big Give--to support local organizations and individuals. This year’s in-person event will be held at Lone Summit Ranch in Lee’s Summit. The mission is to raise money to support our community. Last year we were able to do so many incredible things through the generous gifts and money raised. One of those things was coming alongside one of our mission partners the Hope Center (THC) by providing funds to assist them in their vision of developing healthy communities on Kansas City’s Eastside, where the vulnerable can have hope and flourish.
This year we will be raising funds to support community organizations, one of those being G.I.F.T., a non-profit who provides grants to Black businesses in KC, working to reduce the racial wealth gap.
Every gift received, no matter how big or small, helps create moments of generosity and hope. To make our auction a reality, we are seeking interesting local items to auction off. Would you be willing to help by giving an item? Every item helps! Because the items auction for more than their value, your support will be multiplied in BIG ways!
We are hosting our benefit auction event on Friday, September 16, as a way to raise funds to continue supporting our community. We would like to ask your company if you would be willing to donate an item for the auction.
