Since the 1970s, The Theraplay® Institute has been dedicated to building strong families and emotionally healthy children and adults through Theraplay training and treatment. At our clinic in Chicago, we offer clinical therapy services to address a multitude of mental health and behavioral challenges for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In the past year, we served 110 families, which includes work with individuals, families, couples, and groups. TTI is an international training institute that provides training for mental health professionals, parents, and teachers. In the US alone, we provided professional training to over 1,000 clinicians in the last year.
Theraplay® was developed over 50 years ago for any professional working to support healthy child/caregiver attachment. Strong attachment between the child and the important adults in their life has long been believed to be the basis of lifelong good mental health as well as the mainstay of resilience in the face of adversity.
