The mission of The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company (US) is to mentor, educate, and enrich youth in under-resourced communities through the creation of collaborative, original theatre. We envision a world where all youth have access to the opportunities and support they need to succeed.
A recognized local leader in social justice for nearly 30 years, US’s transformative, standards-based, arts education programming extends beyond the reach of typical arts education workshops; instilling our youth participants with essential skills to disrupt cycles of poverty and transcend challenging circumstances -- programming that we've successfully delivered for roughly three decades. US proudly offers its programming free-of-charge to ensure that our services are accessible to those who need them most.
