Mission: Vance-Granville Community College educates, inspires and supports a diverse community of learners to achieve professional and personal success.

The Foundation provides a way for the entire community, as well as College's alumni, students and employees to ensure that prospective students have the opportunity to access an education or workforce traning program leading to a career with a sustainable income. As a way to support this, the Foundation has an annual employee campaign each year targeted to employee giving. We have seen a huge need this year among our students through the use of our food pantry and requests for student emergency funds. Our campaign theme this year is Make A Splash. We will kick it off on August 12 and it will run through September 26. As a way to boost participation, I am asking for door prizes. Would it be possible for you to give 2-4 tickets to Wet N Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park. We are just over an 1 hour drive to your park. This would be a wonderful incentive to offer as a door prize to those who contribute a certain amount to the employee drive and will also tie in to our theme. The opportunity for our employees to win tickets would be a phenomenal opportunity as we know some do not have the means to leave our 4 county service area.
