The Welsh Society of Philadelphia, founded in 1729, is a society that is dedicated to offering cultural, philanthropic and educational programs. Last year we were able to grant twelve scholarships to students who lived or attended school within 150 miles of the Greater Delaware Valley. We additionally sponsor a group of young people from the URDD, a voluntary youth organization in Wales, to come to the US and perform.
