Women of Flower Mound (WOFM) was formed in 1975. Even though the town was only 14 years old at the time, our founders understood the impact a group of women could make when they came together.
Through the years WOFM has maintained its philanthropic mission by providing assistance to those in need. Our organization continues to grow and established its presence in the community by organizing fundraising events and participating in community events.
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt Charity, Women of Flower Mound has raised and distributed over $100,000 scholarship awards for more than 100 local deserving students.
Each year WOFM aims to award four scholarships totaling $15,000. Scholarship awards are based on the applicant’s academic achievement, career goals, leadership and financial need. Students are eligible to apply for a scholarship whether they are pursuing a traditional degree at a four year university or focusing on a skillset offered by a trade school.
