Since 2001, Bolingbrook's Theatre-on-the-Hill, a full-time community theatre, has been committed to producing the finest in musicals, comedies, dramas and theatre education year round at the ​The Roger C. Claar Performing Arts Center in Bolingbrook. A 501c3 Charity organization, Theatre-on-the-Hill offers a range of opportunities for all ages and experience. Each year productions include a large scale outdoor summer musical and two indoor productions providing the community a place share their creativity and achieve personal growth. BroadwayAfterSchool.org, a concurrent junior program exclusively for grades 2-10, produces three musicals annually engaging many children and families. All auditions are in January, April and August.

Our mission at Theatre-on-the Hill has been unity in community through the theatre arts. We believe that community theatre transcends barriers of age, gender, race, religion and ability. Community theatre celebrates diversity. Community theatre engenders personal growth through commitment and teamwork; confidence through accomplishment; education through experience; compassion through support.
At Theatre-on-the-Hill we value community above all, and because of that unity, have consistently produced quality experiences for thousands of families that have participated in our programs over the years, and for audiences as well.
