Thomas Paine Elementary School in Urbana, Illinois provides education to kindergarten through fifth graders. Our PTA goal is to assist in providing an educational climate where the students’ learning is enhanced by effective communication, cooperation, and collaboration among faculty, staff, and parents.
Each year we hold a carnival with silent auction, raffle baskets, games, food, and fun. We hope to bring the community and families together to celebrate the success of the school. We serve an at risk population: 57% minority, 15% disability, and 65% low-income. Carnival is our main fundraising event of the year and money raised will assist in classroom technology, library resources, students support, school improvements, food support, field trips, and much more. All donating organizations will be gratefully and visibly recognized at the carnival, on the PTA Facebook page, and on our PTA website. Thank you for your consideration!
