Little League Baseball® was founded in 1939, and is considered the world's first organized, community-based, volunteer-operated, non-profit youth sports program.  The first Little League® season was played in Williamsport, Pa., consisting of 30 players and 3 teams.  Today, countless neighborhoods and tens of millions of children and volunteers have proudly been members of Little League Baseball®

As a chartered member of Little League Baseball® since 1968, Thousand Oaks Little League (TOLL) provides the youth of Thousand Oaks, CA an opportunity to learn and play America's favorite pastime - BASEBALL!!  Our program encourages all players between the ages of 4 and 14 who live within our chartered boundaries to come out for both formal instruction and competitive play.  Our philosophy does not permit any eligible candidate to be turned away.  Emphasizing the spirit of Little League rules, we require that every child play in every game.

TOLL Baseball is part of California District 13, and is also a chartered member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.  We are always striving to transform the culture of youth sports so that youth athletes can have a positive, character-building experience.

TOLL Baseball is governed by a Charter Committee at Little League International and is overseen by a local league Board of Directors.  The volunteer Board of Directors is elected annually under the TOLL Constitution as approved by Little League Baseball, Inc. and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the league within the rules, regulations, and policies of Little League Baseball®.
