Our mission is to help foster youth overcome the challenges of growing up in the foster care system by providing guidance, support and advocacy in order to prepare them for life after foster care. 

Youth who age out of foster care already lack stability, yet they are suffering major setbacks due to the pandemic. They’ve lost their jobs, secure housing and even hope for attaining independence and success. But they don’t have to face these challenges alone! THRU Project helps bridge the gap between foster care and independent adulthood.

THRU Project provides:

Volunteer mentors to every youth in our program.
Stable housing or rent assistance.
Financial lessons to teach them about saving for their future. 
Life skills and job readiness programs.
Free cell phones and service plans.
Free VIA bus passes.
