Our mission is to fight addiction, spread awareness, and save lives through drug prevention and education.  Our vision to prevent future generations from the dangers of substance use disorder by promoting advocacy and awareness, sharing the inspiring process behind addiction recovery and educating as many as we can.  In the US, the #1 cause of death of those between the ages of 18-45 is overdose. Drug overdose is now the leading cause of non-medical death in the United States.

As of 2021, it was only slightly less deadly than all homicides, suicides, and motor-vehicle fatalities combined. The Tigger Stavola Foundation (TSF) provides a multi-faceted education program featuring motivational speakers to prevent substance use disorder (SUD). Our current programming endeavors to prevent first use amongst middle and high school youth (ages 11-19).

An integral component to delivering on our education model is our Speakers Bureau. We are proud of the quality and breadth of the speakers we can provide to our committed schools. Our portfolio includes speakers who are subject matter experts on topics such as vaping, marijuana, alcohol, drug use, recovery and mental health. Profiles include a neuro-psychologist who is also a comedian, a father who lost his son to drunk driving, a local teacher whose recovery
story is remarkable and a young man who is paralyzed in a wheelchair as a result of SUD substance use disorder.

In March of 2023, The Tigger Stavola Foundation embarked on its next phase of education - individual engagement. TSF partnered with GoMo Health, a science-based consumer engagement company focused on healthcare and wellness, to create the program LED by Tigger, (Leadership, Education and Drug Prevention). GoMo Health, based in Asbury Park, is a technology company specializing in designing, implementing, and marketing personalized user engagement solutions.

TSF has worked with GoMo Health to customize its model/tools to connect
with high school students while delivering drug education and resources via text messaging. Participation requires just a first name and age. There is no personal health or identity information collected from the user. The platform is designed to be easily accessible via smartphones, making it convenient for students to interact with the content anytime, anywhere. The platform is highly scalable and cost-effective, enabling better self-management, healthy decision-making, and improved outcomes. Schools can integrate this platform into their clubs or recommend it as a supplementary educational resource.

The platform is also open to parents, teachers and caregivers who can engage and review the content/ questions shared with students. The message types vary and can be Behavioral, Resource or Keyword to name a few. There are interactive games and quizzes that teach about the effects of different drugs, risks, and consequences.
