Tip of Texas Family Outreach is a non-profit organization established to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect by providing an array of supportive services.

Our mission is accomplished through parenting skills classes, home-based services for teen parents, free counseling, emergency assistance with food, clothes and school supplies, awareness campaigns such as Car Seat Safety and Look Before You Lock (cars are not babysitters).

Our agency works with the at-risk population primarily referrals received from the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services. To date we have received 400 referrals for parenting skills classes which can be offered virtually or in-person. Participants will receive a certificate of completion along with an incentive gift card for completing the program.  Pre and post-tests are administered to track gain in knowledge. Parents on our caseload are assisted with baby essentials and other items to help relieve some of the financial stress they may face on a daily basis.
