Description: Town Players Community Theater is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of our community through the performing arts. Key Offerings:
- Seasonal Productions: Throughout the year, Town Players stages four productions that showcase local talent and creativity. These productions provide opportunities for community members to participate on stage, behind the scenes, or as part of the audience. By producing a diverse range of plays, we aim to entertain, inspire, and connect with our audience members.
- Summer Youth Program: Town Players summer youth program is designed to engage young individuals in the magic of theatre. With a focus on learning, creativity, and fun, the program welcomes over 50 kids each summer for a theater camp experience. Participants learn various aspects of theatrical production, including acting, stagecraft, and teamwork, culminating in a full-scale production at the end of the camp. Through this program, we strive to nurture the next generation of performers and theatre enthusiasts.
- Big Kids Youth Camp: Our Big Kids Youth Camp caters to students ranging from 7th grade through freshmen in college. This comprehensive program offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of theatre through intensive training, rehearsals, and performances. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, campers develop their skills in acting, singing, dancing, and technical theatre, while also building lasting friendships and memories. The camp culminates in a series of fully staged shows, providing our youth with a professional and rewarding theatrical experience.
