The FoodShare program aims to alleviate food insecurity at Towson University so that the campus community can effectively work towards providing and/or receiving a quality education, resulting in persistence towards graduation. The FoodShare program operates an on-campus food pantry that allows TU students, faculty, and staff to receive up to ten food and/or personal care items a week - for free. In addition to operating the pantry, The FoodShare provides educational programming aimed at improving our population's culinary and financial literacy skills. We served roughly 550 people last year and now that we have relocated to a bigger space on campus, our program's utilization is growing fast.
