The mission of Transcend STEM Education is to combat poverty and advance sustainable employment and self-sufficiency through comprehensive programs and services. Our commitment lies in empowering individuals and families through initiatives such as housing assistance, workforce development training, financial literacy education, and access to employment opportunities. Our holistic approach caters to the diverse needs of our community, with a focus on underserved and low-income populations. Through fostering partnerships, collaborations, and innovative solutions, we aim to bring about lasting change and enhance the lives of those we serve.
Our approach involves stabilizing individuals initially by offering housing assistance and essential everyday items at no cost. The items provided to our clients encompass home furnishings, clothing, housewares, and more. We then certify those who are willing and able by providing workforce development programs and certifications that lead to employment opportunities with wages higher than the minimum. Finally, we empower individuals by offering financial literacy education, employment assistance, and entrepreneurship courses.
