Transitions of PA is a 501(c)3, a crisis center that provides advocacy, empowerment, and education to victims, survivors, families, and communities to end patterns of violence and abuse. Transitions provides services to approximately 1200 - 1500 victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other violent crimes each year (1200 adults, 300 children). Additionally, Transitions provides general education and prevention education services to approxiately 5000 children in Pre-K - 12, and collage age students, and their caregivers, teachers, and other important adutls each year.
All services provided by Transitions are safe, confidential, and no-cost to all individuals served. Direct services provided by Transitions include a 24 Hour Crisis Hotline, Emergency Safe Housing, Crisis Counseling, Legal Advocacy, Counseling and Therapy, Group Counseling, Short, Medium, and Long Term housing assistance, safe cutody exchange and supervised visitation, and civil legal representation for emergency protecion from abuse ordres, custody and divorce.
