Our mission is to inspire youth and families by igniting, challenging, and expanding expectations in academics, life skills, and health and wellness. We generally service students in elementary and secondary school through college. In addition to students, we assist parents with resources to ensure families are knowledgeable within the school year as well as prepared for the following. Our community initiatives supports teens, as well as adults.
In our first year, we had over 2,500 volunteer hours which is equivalent to $62,353 service contributions. As of 2022, we have over 45,000 volunteer hours, which means over $1.2 million service contributions to our community.
Our programs include:
LEGENDprep! our academic program that prepares students for STAAR testing and high schoolers transitioning to college
LEGENDfit! our youth health & wellness program that strives to reduce childhood obesity
BROFAM Fishing! our junior angler program that encourages students to get outdoors
TXL Basketball Club our youth sports program
