Turn Back Time is a non-profit, nature-based education center located in Paxton, MA (EIN 45-3948536). Turn Back Time’s mission is to help people recognize nature’s ability to teach and heal. Since 2012, TBT has developed 58 acres with an active beaver pond, forested trail system, educational farm and sustainable practice gardens.
Through educational programs, nature play, STEM and farm education, TBT is committed to offering programs for underserved populations with accessibility to nature in a welcoming, creative and energizing environment. TBT’s goal is to enroll 30% at risk youth, specifically youth living under the poverty line, individuals who are neurodiverse, on the Autism spectrum, have a documented ADHD diagnosis, are in foster care, or are involved with the department of children and families.
TBT’s embrace of these populations provides additional support to community professionals and families looking for affordable, insightful programs for children. Through the pandemic, TBT has continued to provide safe educational programming that has been essential to the health and wellness of participants throughout Worcester County. TBT serves youth from 3 years old to 10 years old all year long, with after school programs for 8-13 year olds, summer camps, mini camps, special events for the whole community, skills workshops and a farm stand that the students run!
