The mission of Twin Cedars Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is to facilitate and achieve healing and justice for abused and neglected children ages 3-18 by providing our core services of forensic interviewing, family advocacy, trauma focused therapy, and forensic medical exams in Lee County using a trauma informed multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach.
The vision of our program is to raise awareness so that cases of child physical and sexual abuse are reported, investigated, and treated through the collaboration of our multidisciplinary team (MDT). Through community education, the CAC hopes to reduce the occurrence of child abuse and increase reporting when instances of child abuse do occur.
