Twin Cities Ballet's mission is to connect and enrich communities by making ballet approachable, relatable, and fun, through professional and original productions and educational outreach. Notable performances include TCB’s annual performances of A Minnesota Nutcracker, story ballets based on The Wizard of Oz and The Chronicles of Narnia, and Pink Floyd’s The Wall: A Rock Ballet.
Through our educational outreach programs, such as Dance with Me, hundreds of local children are introduced to the art of ballet for the first time. TCB is also a leader in addressing issues of accessibility and inclusivity in ballet; for example, it is the first ballet company in Minnesota to offer a Sensory-Relaxed performance series for people with sensory sensitivities, making the art of ballet accessible for many who might not otherwise be able to do so. With an average audience of over 10,000 patrons each year, TCB serves an important role in making the Twin Cities a place where people love to live and work.
