Guten Tag from the Twin Cities German Immersion School. We are a charter school in St Paul’s Como neighborhood. Not only is our school one of the few German-language elementary and middle schools in the country, we are the largest. The school offers a full immersion program that draws families from all over the Metro.
We have nearly 600 students and 118 staff to take care of.
The TCGIS PTO is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the education and social environment of Twin Cities German Immersion School. Our goals are meant to complement the school curriculum and teachers while fostering community with opportunities for students, families, and staff to learn, socialize, communicate, and grow.
This year we are raising funds for Playground Updates, Teacher Professional Development, and Classroom Enrichment Funds, teacher appreciation, field trips (one of which is to Valley Fair annually) and supporting our International Intern Program.
