Tyler's House was created to offer a safe space outside of the school day for teens in Northeast Johnson County. Our purpose is to meet the needs of young people - facing challenges of disconnection, mental health, or lack of basic needs - by providing an inviting space for them to belong, and to help them experience a sense of community. Current offerings include creative arts programming, study space/homework assistance, and a food pantry. Volunteer mentors are often onsite to aid students. A primary objective of our organization is to give teens the mental health/coping tools they can take with them through life.
