The mission of UCP of San Diego County is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities. By making solid steps, UCP can build a better community for all in the process.

UCP provides communication and self-advocacy training along with Project College and Employment Matters programs. Our Assistive Technology Center and Toy Library gives families accessible, life-changing technologies that facilitates independence at home, work, and in the community. Through our Respitality Program, parents who have children with special needs receive refreshing breaks from their demanding daily routines. UCP SD accepts used durable medical equipment and redistributes it for free.

During the last year, we provided services to 5,774 people including children, adolescents and adults with disabilities, their families, educators, and college students in special education.
